Use multipliers for common percentage increases:

New Value = Original × (1 + %/100)How It Works

+10% → multiply by 1.1 (add 10% of number)

+20% → multiply by 1.2

+25% → multiply by 1.25 or add ¼

+50% → multiply by 1.5 or add ½

+33.33% → multiply by 4/3
